About Us

Pacia Puerto Rico, was originally called Surf House, was established in 2013 as a collaborative effort of a CEO in the healthcare field, and two seasoned Therapeutic Program founders and administrators. This synergy of program and business experience has allowed the establishment of Pacia Puerto Rico as a nationally recognized young adult program. Our partnership philosophy is derived collectively from leading high quality programs and successful and ethical business experience.

Pacia Puerto Rico is an innovative gap-year experience providing opportunities for personal growth and college and career readiness, utilizing a Clinically Informed Life Coaching℠ Model and the tropical setting to foster wellness and resilience to students ages 17 to 24 years.

Pacia Puerto Rico offers a supportive, holistic community where students learn to demonstrate self-mastery, personal responsibility, and healthy decision-making abilities, leading to independence, creativity, and leadership.

Welcome Parents!

Thank you for considering Pacia Puerto Rico, a unique opportunity for your son as he makes the transition to manhood.

If you and your young adult decide that Pacia Puerto Rico is a good fit for your family’s situation; you will be an integral part of the support team that will surround him. However, we do ask you, as parents, to take a step back from making decisions about how your son’s needs are met and the directions he is choosing for the future. In the course of their Pacia experience, we ask these young men to find their own realistic and obtainable direction—one they believe in and will work hard to achieve. You will have an important voice on the team and will have many opportunities to offer support and advice, but it is your son’s life and he needs to own it and lead it.
